Where will the Expo be held?

The Expo will be held at 9256 Nels Nelson Road NW in Bremerton, Washington, at the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints' meeting house, known as the Silverdale Stake Center. This is a free event and open to the public.

What will I learn at the Expo?

Genealogists and family history experts from the greater Kitsap County region will present classes that teach various ways you can discover information about your ancestors. Family history displays from local organizations and experienced attendees will illustrate research techniques and local organizations available to assist those seeking help. One-on-one genealogy consultation with knowledgeable family history enthusiasts will be available. All this is free of charge and open to the public.

What should I bring?

Bring yourself, your questions and your favorite way to take notes, electronic or paper. Whether you're just getting started or you need help with a difficult research question, we'll do our best to fill your needs. There will be a one-hour lunch break. You are welcome to pack a lunch and eat it on-site; or, visit one of the many restaurants in the area.
